…Takes-off with Security & Humanitarian Response
Media aides alongside social media associates on Sunday (February 5, 2023) began a four-week multi-sectoral highlights which will involve a syndicated overview of achievements Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State in short videos, writings, TV and radio interviews through traditional and social media.
Zulum’s Adviser on Public Relations and Strategy, Malam Isa Gusau, announced the media engagement in a message he communicated to the Governor’s media associates.
“I write with the highest regard, to once again convey the deepest gratitude of HE Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, in recognition of your priceless personal and group contributions resulting in positive publicity of developmental activities throughout this first term of the Zulum-led administration”, Gusau said to media aides and social media associates.
Isa Gusau added: “In continuation of your proven commitment and support, we humbly request that we work together as we have productively done in previous years, to devote the next four weeks to recollecting and highlighting developmental activities of the administration through multimedia platforms you own, supervise, work with, or associate with in any useful way”.
“We have, with your anticipated support, planned to use each of the four weeks for a combination of two to three sectors as our theme, hoping to cover between 10 to 12 sectors in the coming four weeks”.
“For the first week, starting today, we are focusing on Security and Humanitarian Response as our theme. This means throughout this week, we will be highlighting in short videos and writings, an overview of Zulum’s support for armed forces, volunteers and his non-kinetic approach to addressing the Boko Haram insurgency.”
“We will, for the Humanitarian Response, recollect and highlight Zulum’s numerous visits to communities across the 27 Local Government Areas for countless humanitarian responses that have hugely improved living conditions, especially of internally displaced persons and refugees, about one million of whom have now been safely resettled with livelihoods being continually provided until stability is achieved”.
“Subsequent weeks will have other combined teams and we welcome suggestions as we move forward. Looking forward to a robust teamwork as we have famously done in previous collaborations”, he said.
The review on social media will be using a hashtag: #ZulumFirstTermOverview as organizers.
