One Year In Office: Governor Ododo’s Administration a Case Study for Others to Emulate – Team MBM

Team MBM Political Movement, a grassroots political group, has celebrated the first anniversary of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration, saying that the Governor has marked a year of unprecedented achievements across various sectors and geopolitical zones of Kogi State.
According to a statement signed by its leader, Mallam Bello Muhammed (popularly known as MBM), Governor Ododo’s leadership has been nothing short of transformative, with groundbreaking achievements in agriculture, healthcare, education, and infrastructure development.
The group stated that his administration has boosted food security by providing modern farming tools, fertilizers, and support for smallholder farmers, placing Kogi at the forefront of agricultural productivity.
It added that Governor’s commitment to youth empowerment and job creation has been particularly impressive, with innovative programs designed to equip young people with skills, funding, and opportunities to thrive. “These initiatives have not only reduced unemployment but have also positioned Kogi as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.”
Team MBM hailed Governor Ododo’s exemplary leadership, stating that he has “demonstrated unparalleled leadership and a deep commitment to the progress and prosperity of the state.
“His administration’s focus on social investment programs, infrastructure, human capital development, and inclusive governance has earned him widespread acclaim”, the statement added.
According to the group, Governor Ododo’s kind-hearted nature, empathy, and ability to listen to the needs of the people have earned him the title of “The People’s Governor”.
“Whether it is ensuring prompt payment of salaries, addressing community concerns, or swiftly responding to emergencies, Governor Ododo leads with compassion and a sense of purpose.”
The group recalled that Governor’s approval of a minimum wage of N72,500 for Kogi civil servants, effective immediately, is a testament to his commitment to improving the welfare of his employees. “His administration has also strengthened law enforcement agencies, deployed technological advancements in security, and collaborated with federal security agencies to ensure the safety and security of Kogi citizens”, the group said.
As Governor Ododo celebrates his first year in office, Team MBM also described his leadership as a “case study for others to emulate.” The group emphasized that the Governor’s achievements are a testament to his commitment to the people of Kogi State and his vision for a brighter future.
The statement concluded that Governor Ododo “is simply the best thing that has happened to Kogi State in decades”, saying “His exemplary leadership and achievements have set a new standard for governance in the state, and his administration’s commitment to the people of Kogi State is unwavering.”
