AASU President Hails HRM Joel Aninge’s 25-Year Reign as Pillar of Progress, Peace, and Youth Empowerment

The President of the All-Africa Students’ Union (AASU), His Excellency Osisiogu Osikenyi E., has joined the chorus of high-profile voices celebrating the 25th Royal Anniversary of His Royal Majesty Barr. Dr. Joel Sabo Aninge, MFR, the Odyong Nyankpa and Egbe Nyankpa of the Nyankpa Nation in Panda Development Area of Karu Local Government, Nasarawa State.
In a glowing felicitation message issued on Monday, Osisiogu described the monarch’s silver jubilee on the throne as a “remarkable achievement” that reflects “visionary leadership, selfless service, and transformational impact” across the region.
“May I, on behalf of the All-Africa Students Union (AASU) and its affiliates, warmly congratulate Your Royal Majesty on the auspicious occasion of your 25th Anniversary on the throne as the Odyong Nyankpa of Panda Development Area, Karu LGA, Nasarawa State — Nigeria,” Osisiogu wrote.
The student leader went on to applaud HRM Aninge’s legacy of inclusive leadership and his deep investment in the welfare of the people, noting that the king’s reign has been synonymous with peace, cultural pride, and social progress.
“Your Majesty’s leadership has been marked by remarkable strides in community development, education, and the overall well-being of the Nyankpa Nation,” Osisiogu stated. “Your visionary leadership has transformed the lives of all of us — your people — and your commitment to their welfare is truly commendable.”
He highlighted several key areas in which the monarch’s influence has been most felt, including education, youth empowerment, infrastructure, and intercultural harmony.
“We celebrate your achievements in promoting education and empowering the youth, fostering community development and infrastructure growth, preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Nyankpa Nation, and ensuring peaceful co-existence among all tribes, residents and all of human under your jurisdiction,” he said.
According to Osisiogu, the monarch’s unwavering commitment to uplifting his people serves as a moral compass and source of pride for all who call the Nyankpa Kingdom home.
“Your Majesty’s reign has indeed been a testament to wise leadership, diplomacy, and dedication to the progress of your people. As Ambassadors of this Kingdom, we are inspired by your commitment to the development of Panda District and Nasarawa State at large,” the message further read.
In a tone rich with reverence and admiration, Osisiogu offered prayers for the continued strength, health, and divine guidance of the royal father.
“As you mark this significant milestone, we pray for continued good health, wisdom, and divine guidance as you continue to lead your people,” he wrote.
The statement concluded with a rousing affirmation of solidarity and deep-rooted loyalty to the throne and the ideals it upholds.
