Abuja witnessed a historic milestone today with the ground-breaking and fundraising ceremony for the Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA) College Project, an initiative hailed by the Honourable Minister of Defence, H.E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar CON, mni, as a testament to the unwavering commitment of military and police families to Nigeria’s development.
Addressing attendees, Minister Badaru praised DEPOWA’s visionary leadership and described the project as a beacon of hope for the nation’s future. “This college represents the dedication of our military and police families to nation-building and the sacrifices of those who protect our country. It will offer opportunities for the children of our brave service members, nurturing a generation grounded in discipline, patriotism, and excellence,” he emphasized.
