The Northern Stakeholders Consultative Forum (NSCF) has joined the chorus of voices demanding the arrest of leaders of the “Kyari Must Go Now” group, who have made threats to shut down Nigeria’s economic activities by occupying critical national assets and exposing nude women on the streets.

NSCF Spokesman Comrade Danjuma Paul expressed concern over these threats and called for quick action against those responsible, stating that their motives must be probed to prevent further threats to national security or economic progress.

Referring to the petition submitted against Kyari by the group, Paul stated that it was commissioned by self-appointed enemies of the NNPCL GCEO.

He stated that their motives must be interrogated in order to ensure that they do not pose any further threats to national security or economic progress.

Paul also referred to the petition that had been submitted against Kyari by the said Kyari Must Go Now group and said that it was commissioned by self-appointed enemies of the NNPCL GCEO.

“These paid individuals recommended among other things, a Forensic Audit of the Fuel Subsidy regime in the last 8 years.

“To fake a semblance of legitimacy, this obscure coalition claimed to be key supporters of President Bola Tinubu after which they threatened to mobilize and organize a one million youth march if Kyari was not relieved of his position as the GMD of NNPC,” Paul said.

He further stated that these individuals were posing an imminent national security threat and apparent saboteurs of the Tinubu administration.

“Some claiming even being lawyers yet vowed to shut down critical national economic assets such as East-West Road, Benin-Ore Road, Abuja-Lokoja Road, Asaba-Onitsha Road while mobilizing another 500 youths to shut down NNPC Towers in Abuja.

Finally he called upon law enforcement officials to take immediate action against those identified signatories involved with this senseless petition so as to ensure uninterrupted flow continues without hindrance, protecting the nation’s interest and ultimately safeguarding safety & well-being all Nigerians.

“The numerous NNPC’s achievements under Mele Kyari point out commitment towards developing energy sector improving economy -with continued growth investment corporation undoubtedly achieve even greater milestones future”, the group said.
