On Wednesday, an atmosphere of hope was rekindled for a better representation in Ezza South, bringing standstill as Ebonyi PDP kicked off her Local government area Campaign.

The rally which was massively attended by supporters of the party witnessed the attendance of some members that previously left the party due to grievances.

Addressing the mammoth crowd, the Gubernatorial Candidate Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii promised that his government will fight poverty, create avenues for employment and as well restore the pride of Ebonyi State amongst comity of states.

Dr Odii who in clear terms stated that his administration if elected will serve the interest of Ezza nation hinting he will not segregate them in the distribution of dividends of democracy.

Other speakers in the rally called on Ebonyians to vote for the Candidate’s of the PDP so as to salvage the state from drifting and collapse.

The media assistant to the governorship candidate who also doubles as the Deputy Director of New Media for the Campaign organization, Comr Pasona Stanley who spoke to our correspondent explained that the PDP is poised in reclaiming the state and no Jupiter can stop it

The governorship candidate, Chief Ifeanyi Odii, deputy governorship candidate, Sen. Dr Paulinus Igwe Nwagu, former Gov. Sam Egwu- Ph.D, Senator representing Ebonyi South zone, Sen. Dr Ama Nnachi, PDP South East Vice Chairman, Chief (Dr) Ali Odefa, member representing Ohanivo in the House of Representatives, Hon. Engr Livinus Makwe, DG of the campaign council, Chief Austin Igwe Edeze- MON, business mogul, High Chief Amah Ugorji (Ochiri of Edda), former Chairman of PDP in Ebonyi State, Barr Silas Onu, Ebonyi Press Chapel, among other personalities and candidates of National and State Assembly were in attendance.
