Former Director-General of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Earl Osaro Onaiwu, has extended warm Father’s Day greetings to fathers, grandfathers, and father figures across Nigeria and around the world, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to families, communities, and national development.
In his Father’s Day message, Onaiwu praised fathers for their sacrifices, dedication, guidance, and unwavering commitment to raising responsible children and building strong family values.
“Today, we celebrate the men whose love, wisdom, and hard work continue to shape generations. Fathers and grandfathers play a critical role in nurturing character, providing stability, and inspiring hope for a better future. Their influence extends beyond their homes into the broader society,” he said.
Onaiwu noted that the challenges of modern life have increased the responsibilities placed on fathers, making their commitment to family and community even more deserving of recognition and appreciation.
He urged fathers to continue serving as role models by promoting integrity, compassion, discipline, and respect for others, while encouraging younger generations to uphold the values that strengthen society.
The former NGF Director-General also paid tribute to grandfathers whose wisdom, experience, and enduring legacies continue to guide and inspire families across generations.
