The Network of Blockchain Solutions Advocates Association (NOBSAA) has thrown its weight behind the forthcoming Enugu Tech Festival 2026, giving a major boost to the region’s growing reputation as a rising hub for technology and innovation.
The tech festival is organised by the Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, Enugu State Government, Dr. Lawrence Eze.
The endorsement was formally announced at a joint unveiling of branded materials by NOBSAA leadership and festival organizers. The four-day event, themed “From Coal to Code: Energy in New Form,” is slated for February 24–27, 2026, and is expected to attract startups, investors, policymakers, innovators, and development partners from across Nigeria and beyond.
According to NOBSAA, the endorsement reflects its commitment to advancing blockchain adoption, digital innovation, and inclusive economic growth in Nigeria and Africa. “Technology is the new energy resource of Enugu,” the association stated, adding that the festival represents “a bold step in repositioning the state as a hub for digital transformation and economic renewal.”
The Enugu Tech Festival 2026 will showcase transformative solutions across sectors including artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, fintech, green energy, and healthtech. Organizers say the event will not only highlight emerging technologies but also serve as a platform for cross-border collaborations and investments.
With NOBSAA’s backing, the festival is expected to further strengthen ties between local innovators and global technology stakeholders, creating opportunities for skills development and sustainable growth.
As the countdown to February 2026 begins, industry watchers note that the endorsement positions the Enugu Tech Festival as more than a regional showcase—it is evolving into a continental platform for shaping Africa’s technological future.
