The Obidient Movement has continued its strategic expansion with the inauguration of Ward Coordinators in Municipal Local Government Area of Kano State, further entrenching its presence at the grassroots level in Northern Nigeria.

The colourful event, held over the weekend, marked a significant milestone for the Movement as it unveiled the “Peter Obi Prosperity Cap”, a symbolic headgear representing the transition from a consumption-based economy to a production-driven future. The cap also embodies a collective resolve to combat poverty, impunity, and mismanagement of public resources.

According to organisers, the Municipal LGA holds substantial political weight in Kano State, making it a key target for deepening civic engagement and voter mobilisation ahead of future elections.Dr Yunusa Tanko, other Obidients adorned in Peter Obi Prosperity Cap

In a show of regional solidarity, representatives of the Obidient Movement from Jigawa and Katsina States joined their Kano counterparts at the event. They pledged to replicate the initiative in their respective states and mobilise grassroots support for the ideals championed by Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential flagbearer.
