Hon. Stephen Abraham Ajiya has expressed his gratitude and humility after receiving his Provisional Clearance Certificate to contest for the position of National Vice Chairman, North Central Zone of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) following his successful screening exercise by the party in Abuja, Nigeria.
There had been speculations that some forces were working to ensure his disqualification to contest for the position. The clearance marks a significant milestone in his desire to lead the PDP in the North Central zone of the party.
In his message to the party and his supporters, Hon. Ajiya said, “Today, I stand with immense gratitude and humility to announce that I have received my Provisional Clearance Certificate to contest for the position of PDP North Central Chairman,” Hon. Ajiya said. “This milestone is not just my achievement but ours. It’s a testament to your unwavering support, prayers, and belief in the vision we share for a greater North Central and a united PDP.”
Hon. Ajiya acknowledged that this achievement is not solely his, but a result of the collective effort and support of party leaders and members. He emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort, stating that progress is not achieved in isolation, but through the combined efforts of all party members.
He added, “However, this is just the beginning. There are still hurdles ahead, and I cannot do this alone. I need your continued support, your voices, and your commitment to this cause,” Hon. Ajiya urged. “Let us remember that progress is not achieved in isolation but through collective effort.”
As he moves forward in his candidacy, Hon. Ajiya promised to remain dedicated to servant leadership, inclusivity, and the values that unite the party. His commitment to creating a legacy of progress for the PDP North Central and beyond has resonated with many, including the North Central Unity Forum for Good Governance Initiative, which has endorsed him for the position.
