PDP North Central Zonal Congress: Forum Urges Transparent Process, Reaffirms Support for Hon. Ajiya

As the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) prepares for its North Central zonal congress, the North Central Unity Forum for Good Governance Initiative has reiterated its endorsement of Hon. Stephen Abraham Ajiya for PDP Vice Chairmanship race and welcomed a competitive, transparent and credible election process in the party.

In a press release, the forum emphasized the importance of upholding the will of the people, stating, “It is imperative that the will of the people is respected and upheld.”

The forum in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja affirmed that Hon. Stephen Abraham Ajiya is the most prepared aspirant for the position of National Vice Chairman, North Central Zone of the PDP.

“We believe that competition will only strengthen our party and ensure that the best candidate emerges,” said Zaccheaus Dauda, the Secretary General of the group.

Hon. Ajiya’s exceptional maturity and tolerance as a grassroots politician were cited as key reasons for the forum’s continued support. “His dedication to the well-being of the PDP and his ability to connect with the people at the grassroots level make him the best-prepared candidate for the job,” added Dauda.

The forum urged all lovers of the PDP in the North Central Zone to remain steadfast in their support for Hon. Ajiya, acknowledging the significant impacts his campaign team has made at the grassroots levels across the zone.

“Their commitment and hard work are commendable and deserve our recognition,” the forum concluded.
