A call to action has been made by Sheik Buari Omo Musa, a prominent Islamic Scholar and lead Preacher, for individuals and corporate organizations to join forces and promote humanitarian activities spearheaded by Doctor Tajudeen Bisimillahi, the Imole Adinni of Okun land.
This appeal was made during the Fidau prayer for late Alhaja Ramatallahi Bisimillahi, Doctor Bisimillahi’s mother, held at Ejuku in Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Sheik Buari Omo Musa emphasized the importance of prayers and Zakat for the deceased loved ones, highlighting that such spiritual undertakings are acceptable for the peaceful repose of the souls of the deceased.
He also encouraged Nigerians to support noble intentions directed towards charity and humanitarian activities, praising Doctor Bisimillahi’s contributions to Kogi State’s growth and development.
The launch of the Ramatallahi Bisimillahi Ejuku Foundation was also announced, with Doctor Bisimillahi revealing that proceeds from donors will fund the completion of Oke Ayegun central Mosque and Islamic School classrooms in four locations: Isanlu, Imela, Lokoja, and Koton Karfi.
Dignitaries in attendance included His Royal Highness Oba Lamidi Ayeni, the Elejuku of Ejuku, and His Royal Highness Oba Muyiwa Ibeun, the Elulu of Mopa. Other notable guests were Honourable Abiodun Akinlade, National Assembly member, Doctor Nasir Mustapha Raji, former Director General of the National Productivity Centre, and NASFAT members from across the country.
This initiative aligns with global efforts to promote humanitarianism, which saves lives and reduces suffering by providing essentials like food, water, medical supplies, and shelter.
