As the National Chairman of Labour Party (LP), Barr Julius Abure has, in his Easter message, called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to seek an end to the lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU).

While wishing Nigerians and the entire human race the joy of Easter occasioned by the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, he said the party sympathises with the students as the strike has lingered for many month.

He noted that with the security and economic hardships, coupled with the high cost of food, Barr. Julius Abure urged Christians to continue to pray for the leaders for better governance.
