Presidential aspirant of the National Rescue Movement (NRM), Faduri Oluwadamilare Joseph, has called for national unity, peace, and economic recovery as Muslim faithful mark the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.

In a goodwill message personally signed and made available to journalists in Abuja, Faduri congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan, describing the fasting period as a season of profound spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and devotion to Allah.

He urged Nigerians to uphold the values of compassion, tolerance, and generosity cultivated during Ramadan, noting that these virtues are indispensable for strengthening peaceful coexistence and national cohesion.

The NRM presidential hopeful expressed concern over the country’s security situation, calling for collective prayers and deliberate actions to restore peace and stability. He prayed for divine intervention to ease insecurity and bolster ongoing efforts to protect lives and property across the nation.

On the economic front, he encouraged citizens to remain steadfast and optimistic despite prevailing challenges, expressing confidence that unity and faith would usher in economic prosperity, inclusive growth, and long-term stability.

“May Allah accept our acts of worship, grant Nigeria lasting peace, and bless our land with prosperity and progress,” he said.

He further called on Nigerians to use the Eid celebration as an opportunity to demonstrate love and support for the less privileged, in line with the teachings of Islam.

“Eid Mubarak to all Muslim faithful,” Faduri added.
