Christmas: Stay Calm, Trust Government — Yusuf Tells Nigerians

As Nigerians prepare for the Christmas celebrations, Nigerian-American entrepreneur and financial expert, Mr. Ismaila Yusuf, has urged citizens to remain calm, trust the government, and uphold peace and lawful conduct, despite prevailing economic and social challenges.

Yusuf, who is the Managing Director of Atuspay and Chief Executive Officer of Atusbulk, Xpress-Esim, and Woskybet, made the call in a statement he personally signed, appealing to Nigerians to approach the festive season with responsibility, discipline, and optimism.

He stressed that national stability depends largely on peace, respect for constituted authority, and responsible civic behaviour, particularly during periods of economic pressure and heightened public anxiety.

“I urge everybody to remain calm and believe in the government. The government is doing their best,” Yusuf said.

The entrepreneur also highlighted the spiritual importance of Christmas, encouraging Nigerians to celebrate the season with faith and renewed hope, describing it as a period that reflects sacrifice, redemption, and belief in a better future. Nigerian-American entrepreneur and financial expert, Mr. Ismaila Yusuf, has urged citizens to remain calm, trust the government, and uphold peace and lawful conduct, despite prevailing economic and social challenges.

“Nigerians should celebrate Christmas with faith and believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins,” he stated.

Addressing economic concerns, Yusuf advised Nigerians to adopt prudent financial habits during the festive period, urging them to prioritise savings and avoid excessive spending. He emphasised the need for long-term financial planning, especially in uncertain economic times.

He further noted that Atuspay enables Nigerians to send money to over 190 countries globally, enhancing access to international financial transactions and supporting cross-border economic activities.

“I advise Nigerians to always learn how to save their money for a rainy day and be careful of overspending,” Yusuf added.
