The National Publicity Secretary of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) and Executive Chairman of Wase Local Government Area in Plateau State, Hon. Hamisu Anani, has successfully completed a high-level governance training organised by the Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF) in Accra, Ghana, earning a certificate of participation.

Hon. Anani described the training as a transformative experience and commended the organisers for creating a platform that deepens understanding of democratic governance at the grassroots level.

He noted that the programme has broadened his perspective on effective local administration and strengthened his resolve to champion reforms that promote transparency, accountability, and inclusive development in Nigeria’s local government system.
