In a stunning turn of events, Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo has approved the appointment of 1,192 additional aides, leaving many in the political sphere wondering about the motivations behind this unprecedented move.
The newly appointed aides include Yakubu Abdulhakeem as Executive Secretary of the Kogi State Office for Disability, 165 Senior Special Assistants, 36 Special Assistants, 574 Ward Special Assistants, and 290 Local Government Special Assistants. Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulsadiq has also been appointed as Director of Protocol in the First Lady’s Office.
Governor Ododo congratulated the appointees, urging them to dedicate themselves to serving the state and humanity with utmost commitment. The appointments take effect from September 1, 2024.
