Governor Ododo’s A’Court Victory A Testament to Democracy & the People’s Choice – Says AASU President’s SSA Onimisi

In a landmark ruling, the Appeal Court of Nigeria has upheld the election of Alhaji Usman Ododo as the Governor of Kogi State. The court’s decision has been hailed as a triumph of democracy and a testament to the people’s choice.

Comrade Otaru Muhammed Onimisi, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the All Africa Students’ Union (AASU) President, congratulated Governor Ododo on his victory, stating, “The Appeal Court ruling is a confirmation of the perfect will of God and the irrefutable choice of Kogi people.”

He added, “It reinforces the confidence our people have in the judiciary and sets a precedent for true democracy in Nigeria and Africa.”

He praised Governor Ododo’s leadership for its transparency, accountability, competence, and commitment to the people of Kogi State.

Comrade Onimisi noted, “Governor Alh Usman Ododo is a model of this kind of leadership, and this victory shows that the people of Kogi overwhelmingly voted for him. No amount of opposition can contest that mandate.”

The SSA urged all Kogi people to unite in support of their governor, saying, “It is time for Kogi people to rise up and support our God-ordained Governor. Let us all rise to the faith of greatness.”

He emphasized the importance of putting aside political differences and working together for the progress of the state.

Comrade Onimisi’s congratulatory message extended to Governor Ododo, the government, and people of Kogi State, celebrated this significant milestone in the state’s political history.

He concluded, “God bless Governor Alh Usman Ododo! God bless Kogi State!”
