…To Train 1,000 Youths Annually
The Jigawa State Government has taken a significant step towards promoting environmental sustainability and job creation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Argemeering Services Limited. The partnership aims to establish three liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) bottling plants within the state.
Governor Umar Namadi emphasized the strategic importance of this initiative. The project will lead to the establishment of an LPG bottling plant in each of the state’s three senatorial districts.
The LPG plants are expected to generate employment opportunities for the youth in Jigawa State.
On environmental protection, the use of firewood for cooking will be reduced, contributing to environmental conservation.
On commitment and mutual benefit, Bashir Mukhtar, the Chief Executive Officer of Argemeering Services Limited, pledged the company’s commitment to fulfilling the terms of the partnership. As part of the MOU, the company will also train 1,000 youths annually.
Governor Namadi assured that the partnership would be mutually beneficial, aligning with the state’s 12-point agenda blueprint.
It is believed that this collaboration represents a positive step towards cleaner energy solutions and economic growth in Jigawa State.
