Kogi Guber 2023: Uja’Ache Decries Alleged State Sponsored Attacks On Citizens, Calls For Synergy Against Traitors

Uja’Ache Citizen’s Mandate Group for good governace has condemned, described the All Progressive Congress (APC) government’s persistence attack on supporters of opposition candidates in Kogi State as disastrous for democracy in Nigeria.

The Leadership of the group, Alhaji Isah Ahmed Idris made the condemnation at the end of a Critical Stakeholders Meeting at Anyigba, Kogi State.

The communique as contained in the Press Release in Anyigba called on the Federal Government to profer a long term measure to protect democracy in Nigeria and particularly in Kogi State, where Governor Yahaya Bello has allegedly declare war on opposition parties in preparation for November 11, 2023 Governorship election.

It expressed worry over what the group described as a failed All Progressive Congress (APC) administration in Kogi State, now turning the state into a theatre of war, particularly in Kogi East, where supporters of Social Democratic Party (SDP) are being harked, maimed and killed in every nooks and crannies.

The Citizens’ Mandate Group specifically advised those who the group accused of being “greedy and misguarded” Igala/Bassa youth that have allegedly submitted their conscience, fate and future to be used as thuggs by a failed APC administration for purpose of killing and destroying the properties of their kinsmen in Kogi East, just to sustain their slave status in the hands of gangsters, to desists or pay dearly for it.

It questioned the intergrity and wisdom of Governor Yahaya Bello, and Senator Jibrin Isah (Echocho), accusing them of persistently attacking supporters of SDP and it’s candidate, Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka (Muri), first at Jamata- Lokoja, Ejule, Ajiolo and recently, in Kotonkarfi on September 3rd, 2023.

Uja’Ache advised every Kogi Community being attacked by notorious thuggs and those who are being used to attack supporters of SDP and it’s candidate, Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka (Muri) to constitute security blocks to counter the offensive.

The group cautioned the legitimate sons and daughters of Igala/Bassa who are being deceived to engage in killing pree and destroying the properties of their kinsmen to immediately desists or pay dearly for it.

Citizens’ Mandate also urged every electorates to immediately reach out to the INEC offices in their respective Wards, LGAs and in the state capital to collect their abandoned Personal Voter’s Cards (PVCs) to vote for Muri, the only way to change the narratives in our state.

While acknowledging the firm determination of the good people of Kogi State to salvage themselves from the sharckles of poverty, torture and enslavement by despotic government, Uja’Ache urged the electorates to vote massively for Muri’s SDP to redeem the integrity and lost glory of Kogi state.

It however warned the citizens not to play into the danger of third term government of Governor Yahaya Bello, using FG palliative rice, branded in Ahmed Ododo’s name, to collect Voters’ PVCs in exchange for the dubious rice.

Uja’Ache charged the people of Kogi state to ask questions on what happens to the dead Kogi State Transport Service (Kogi Travelers), Radio Kogi Booster stations in (Otite, Egbe, Ochaja), Kogi Hotels, Graphic Newspapers, Ibro Big Water Project in Lokoja and several collapsed Schools, Hospitals and Road infrastructures across the state.

The Citizens’ Mandate therefore tasked the electorates to boldly take their destiny into their own hands by voting in Murtala Yakubu Ajaka to erase their sad memory of sordid and catastrophic reminder of Kogi State’s present state.
