Buhari In Niger Republic, To Attend World Leaders Summit Alongside President Bazoum

Former Nigeria’s President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) on Friday departed Daura in Katsina State for Niger Republic. He is said to be departing the neighbouring country for World Leaders Submit in the UK along with Mohamed Bazoum, President of the country.
Although the detailed agenda of the meeting is not available, it is expected to be about the summit which is aimed at working to help transform education systems in several countries and territories.

Buhari is expected back in Niger Republic along with President Mohamed Bazoum at the end of the Summit.
President Muhammadu Buhari has said the neighbouring Niger Republic will defend him when he leaves office.
Recall that few days to May 29, 2023, handover date, Buhari had said that the neighbouring Niger Republic will defend him when he leaves office if Nigerians make the country difficult to live in after the May 29 handover ceremony, Niger will defend him.
