Why Residents Of Karu, Jikwoyi, Kurudu, Karshi, Others Will Experience Power Outage Till 4pm Today – AEDC

Residents of Karu, Jikwoyi, Kurudu, Orozo, Karshi, part of Nyanya, City College and environs are expected to experience power outage as electricity supply to the areas will interrupted between 9am and 4pm today Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
This was contained in a public notice issued by the Management of Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc. (AEDC) yesterday.
According to the distribution company, the development will allow the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) carry out “a maintenance exercise on the 6OMVA TR1 at the 2x60MVA Karu Transmission Station, Abuja”.
AEDC added that “The outage will interrupt power supply to customers resident in Karu, Jikwoyi, Kurudu, Orozo, Karshi, Part of Nyanya, City College and its environs.
“While regretting the inconvenience, please be assured that it is intended to ensure better service delivery.”
