I’m In the Presidential Race To Win, Not Stepping Down — SDP’s Adebayo Declares

While dispelling rumour that he has stepped down from the presidential race ahead of the February 25 polls in Nigeria, the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo said that he is in the presidential race to win, warning against mischief and spread of fake news against the party.
He specifically called on the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP) not to mislead the public to believe that he has stepped down for or collaborating with either of them.
In a tweet, he said, “I get inquiries by well meaning voters, irritated by mischievous rumours, innuendoes and fake news by @OfficialAPCNg, @OfficialPDPNig and disappointingly also @NgLabour that SDP is in collaboration with them or I have withdrawn for any of them. It a lie. Ignore them. Vote for SDP”, he Prince Adebayo tweeted.
