Wife Of Katsina State Deputy, Hajiya Mariya Mannir-Yakubu Moves To Take Katsina For Tinubu

The wife of the Katsina State Deputy Governor, Hajiya Mariya Mannir-Yakubu has called on the people of the state to support and vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Senator Bola Tinubu and his running mate Senator Kashim Shettima come Saturday, February 25 presidential election.
The deputy governor’s wife who is the National Woman Leader and Coordinator of the 19 northern states for the Tinubu-Shetima Campaign made the call during a campaign rally on Monday in Katsina.
According to her, she was in the state to canvas for support and votes for the Tinubu-Shetima joint ticket, noting that they have a wealth of experience that can be tapped if elected as president and vice president respectively.
She further explained that Tinubu was a governor in Lagos State who excellently ruled the state and positioned it on a sound economic base.
The Tinubu-Shettima campaign Woman Leader also said that based on what was witnessed when Tinubu was governor, where he ruled Lagos for months without federal allocation, he will make Nigeria better.
She said that part of Tinubu’s agenda was to empower woman and youths to be self-reliant if elected as president of Nigeria.
Hajiya Mannir-Yakubu, who interacted with various support groups, including women, youths, community leaders, among others, noted that Tinubu has excellent plans for Nigeria in the area of agriculture, industrialisation, empowerment, education, health and security.
She described elective position as a machinery to serve which has been manifested by the APC presidential, calling on women to use their numerical strength and come out en masse to vote for APC in all positions.
While in Baure, Mani, Bindawa and Zango Local Government Areas (LGAs), she called on the people in the area to vote for APC to enjoy the rural transformation agenda of the party.
During the visit she equally visited the palace of District heads of Baure and Zango to seek their fatherly advice.
Speaking in Baure, the Chairman of the local government, Alhaji Murtala Adamu-Pele appreciated the APC for the dividends of democracy in the area and pledged unflinching support to the party.
