There are increasingly strident calls by Nigerians for a greater role for the youth in the leadership of this nation.

The latest of such call came from Bauchi-based youth leader, Mr Lukman Garba, saying that Mr. Ibrahim Abubakar Lajada, a USA based 40 year old businessman from Borno State is the best man for the number one job.

Garba who spoke with newsmen described Lajada as a young man with the means, experience and the fear of God and capable of changing the fortune of Nigeria.

He lamented that the various political dispensations in Nigeria had been headed by elders without achieving much but now is the time to hand over the number one seat to a youth.

“We live in a dynamic world today and there is therefore a need to have leaders who can keep pace with our fast-changing world.

Lajada is what Nigeria desperately needs at this time, a young, passionate, and selfless leader and the type of leader who knows the people and their needs, appreciates their challenges and has demonstrated more than ordinary commitment to the yearnings of the people.

“The leader Nigeria needs must have a tract record of achievement, which Lajada certainly has,” he said.

“By now it is sufficiently clear to many within and beyond our country, that Hon Ibrahim Abubakar Lajada is unshakeably in the race for the seat of the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2023.

He said that with Allah, all things are possible and great times are possible for Nigeria with Hon Lajada as the number citizen.”

“Lajada had already demonstrated his good plans for Nigeria and Nigerians and his complete commitment to the promotion of the welfare of the youth and women through his foundation, the Lajada Foundation.

“His belief in the Nigeria Project is absolute, and that is why he should be given a chance”, Garba insisted.
