ALGON Mourns Late Bauchi Commissioner, Ahmed Aliyu Jalam, Condoles Gov. Abdulkadir, Family

The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) has expressed sadness over the sudden death of the Commissioner For Local Government And Chieftaincy Affairs, Bauchi State, Ahmed Aliyu Jalam, who died in a fatal auto crash around Misau-Darazo Highway on Saturday June 1st 2024, on his way to his village Jalam Dambam LGA.
In his condolence message to the state Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, the family, and the people of Bauchi state on behalf of National Executive Council (NEC), The Board of Trustees (BOT), Management and Staff of the National Office, ALGON National President, Hon Aminu Mu’azu Maifata described the deceased as a true grassroots unifier.
The message reads, “on behalf of the National Executive Council (NEC), The Board of Trustees (BOT), Management and Staff of the National Office, I heartily condole the State Governor, Sen. Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, the family, and the people of Bauchi state over the sudden death of Ahmed Alyiu Jalam the Bauchi state commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs who died following a fatal auto crash around Misau-Darazo Highway on Saturday June 1st 2024, on his way to his village Jalam Dambam LGA.
“ALGON is deeply saddened by this unforeseen incident, especially for the huge gaps and setbacks his demise will cause the family, and the rural populace of the State due to his positive stand on issues of Local Governments and Area Councils which are presently gaining traction nationally, hence his contributions will be missed greatly.
“As a true grassroots unifier, his earthly commitment to advancing good governance and community relations will be missed.
“ALGON therefore pray that the Almighty Allah, the Merciful and Beneficent will forgive his shortcomings, grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, and kind admittance in His kingdom.
“Once again Rest in Peace Mallam Ahmed”, the ALGON National President prayed.
