In a bid to address the current economic challenges facing Katsina State, Acting Governor Malam Farouk Lawal Jobe has appealed to residents to engage in constructive dialogue with the government rather than joining the nationwide protest.

Jobe highlighted several key initiatives underway to alleviate hardships and create opportunities for all residents.

The initiatives include a ₦10 billion MSME Growth Fund, the creation of the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA), and the development of Common Facility Centres in all three Senatorial Districts.

Additionally, he said, the government has launched the Dikko BDS Corp, implemented an MSME Census and Survey, and established the Katsina Employability Project.

Jobe urged citizens to channel their energies into productive endeavors and take advantage of the opportunities being created.
