Katsina State Deputy Governor Was One of the Special Guests At Shettima’s Daughter Wedding in Maiduguri

The Katsina State Deputy Governor, Qs Mannir Yakubu was among thousands of dignitaries and well wishers that converged in Maiduguri, Borno State, last Saturday to attend the wedding fatiha of the daughter of the 2023 All Progressives Congress (APC) Vice-Presidential Candidate Senator Kashim Shettima.
The wedding was also attended by President Muhammadu Buhari, represented by his Chief of Staff (COS), Prof. Ibrahim Gamabari.
The wedding fatiha took place at the palace of the Shehu of Borno, His Eminence, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Garbai Umar El Kanemi amidst a mammoth crowd.
The wedding fatiha was administered by the Chief Imam Idaini of Borno, Shiekh Shettima Mamman Sale, to the groom, Sadiq Ibrahim Bunu and his bride, Fatima Kashim Shettima.
The Katsina State Deputy Governor wished the couple a happy married life, and advised them to always be patient with each other, the Chief Press Secretary to the Katsina State Deputy Governor, Ibrahim Musa Kallah, said in a statement on Monday.
During the wedding fatiha, the former Governor of Bauchi State Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu represented the father of the groom, Architect Ibrahim Bunu, while Gov. Babagana Zulum of Borno State represented the bride and father of the bride.
Other top dignitaries at the event were Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan as well as the National Security Adviser, Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd) and 2023 APC Presidential Candidate , Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Other personalities at the wedding fatiha include business mogul, the President of Dangote conglomerate, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Alhaji Mohammed Idimi, the President, Idimi and Alhaji Dahiru Mangal.
