Over one hundred women and youth in Bauchi metropolis of Bauchi State have been trained in different skills acquisition and petty trade with a view to making them self-reliant.
The Programme was organized by Kyautatawa Iyali Maitama Tuggar Community Empowerment Initiative in Bauchi.
The nongovernmental founded by Amb Yusuf Maitama Tuggar trained and empowered over 100 youths and women in the state on various skills, including mobile phone repairs, catering, tailoring, among other skills.
Two months ago, the organisation trained 150 women as Traditional Birth Attendants and supported them with the needed startup materials.
The organization has also drilled many boreholes in the state.
In the same vein, the Amb Yusuf Tuggar Foundation has equally organized a one week workshop on ICT Tools and Social Media Application for 50 youths in the state.
The beneficiaries appreciated the kink gestures by Amb Yusuf Tuggar and Hajiya Samina Alka, the National Coordinator of the foundation for training them and empowering them with various materials.
