The 34TH Anniversary of HRH. Eze C. O. Nnajiemere (EZE UDO II, OMANZE OF AMURIE OMANZE) took place on Saturday the 26th of December 2020.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Diaspora Affairs, Hon. Cllr. Celia Osakwe-Hibbert who was at the event opined that ‘this is a ‘Diaspora Boxing day’ as “almost all the people I’ve interacted with are all back from one country or the other”.

“Christmas in Imo”, she added, “can never be the same without Diasporans visiting home in December”, saying “They add spice, flavour and vibrancy to the festivities”.
“This year”, she observed, “is characteristically different from others.
“I’ve noticed that most Diasporans aren’t carrying mobile security men, you can see they actually feel safe.
“It feels reassuring that my Boss, Senator Hope Uzodimma got ‘security issue’ right. There are very low incidents of crime.
“Just look around, look into the cars”, she gesticulated, “Almost everyone is driving happily without mobile security”, she added.
Our correspondent also gathered that a couple of people were honoured with Chieftaincy titles by His Royal Highness, Eze Nnajiemere.
Spectators watched on, with great enthusiasm, the Igbo culture in its fullness and authenticity.
The Eze during the occasion, thanked all attendees, especially the visiting Ezes from the neighbouring communities of Oboro, Amandugba, Eze Amike and a few more.
Eze Udo also obliged them to join in the Conferment of the titles; displaying an uncommon show of solidarity.
The event was full of men and women of honour.
