The Special Adviser to President Buhari on NEPAD (New Partnership for Africa’s Development) has teamed up with Imo State Special Adviser on International Cooperation/NEPAD, Imo Diaspora Office and Albertiqs Foundation to deliver an Orange Campaign sensitisation programme in Mbano, Imo State.

Every year, a 16-day of activism is actioned across the globe, starting on November 25th and ending on December 10th.
This 16-day event is known as the ‘Orange Campaign’; a campaign to basically say NO to violence against women and girls.
Never before has so much ado been made about the Orange Campaign in Imo State; A United Nations backed campaign which is targeted at eradicating gender-based Violence by 2040.
SA to Imo Governor on NEPAD, Hon. Doris Tony-Anyanwu and SA on Diaspora Affairs, Hon. Cllr. Celia Osakwe-Hibbert, alongside Albertiqs Foundation were present to deliver a thrilling sensitisation programme to an audience comprising of young girls and a handful of boys.
Jennifer Ohayere, a young student of Ibeme High, won a cash prize and sponsorship from the Trio Team who visited the school in the early hours of Friday morning.
She won the prize for exemplary conduct at the unannounced competition during the Orange Campaign visit.
