The Special Adviser to the Imo State Governor on Diaspora Affairs, Hon. Cllr. Celia Osakwe-Hibbert has said that “Part of fighting inequalities against women is creating opportunities for us.“
She spoke as she on Saturday, the 28th of November as the state continued with its 16-day celebration of #OrangeCampaign.
“I’m proud to have joined the unveiling of the only corporate Female Football Club In Imo State, Angels Football Club.
“I’m even prouder to have been found worthy of being an Ambassador for this club along side other Internationalist like Chioma Ajunwa…”, Hon. Osakwe-Hibbert.
Diaspora boss also kicked off as the striker in today’s novelty match.
The SA Diaspora played with the new team until half time.
SA DIASPORA wore an orange boot for the match to show solidarity for the on going #OrangeCampaign.
Other top government functionaries present at the event were Special Adviser to the Governor on Skills Acquisition, Hon. Chidi Onyewuchi and Special Adviser to the Governor on NEPAD Hon. Doris Anyawu.
