The Nigeria’s capital, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has recorded new cases of COVID-19, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed.
Last night, the NCDC confirmed new cases in the country with FCT recording two new cases bringing the figure of infected persons in FCT to 54.
The NCDC in its COVID-19 updates tweeted a break down of the new cases saying “Twenty-two new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 15 in Lagos, 4 in the FCT, 2 in Bauchi, 1 in Edo.
“As at 09:00pm 8th April there are 276 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Fourty-four have been discharged with six deaths.
