According to the NIDCOM boss, “Mr President has given us this task and we must work together to achieve and build a better Nigeria”.
She stressed that the Commission is ready to work with all the staff by identifying their individual strengths and weaknesses.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Commission, Dr. Sule Yakubu Bassi urged the staff to put in their best and build their career aligning with the mission and vission of the Commission.
The Induction programme later broke into Technical sessions with experts spotlighting on NiDCOM’s Administrative Structure Component, Peoples Element/Managing people, importance of the National Diaspora Policy among others.
The Induction also looked at the Diaspora phenomenon putting into perspectives defining a Nigerian Diasporan as a migrant living legitimately and legally continuously at least for one year, holder of Nigerian passport, with a verifiable address and contributing to National Development.
