Igbo-Etiti Transitional Chairman Assumes Office, Tours Critical Areas

Following the December 16, 2019 appointment of Barr. Ikenna Nwodo as Igbo-Etiti Local Government Council Transition Committee Chairman by the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who found him worthy of steering the affairs council in his magnanimity and grassroots-oriented approach to governance, the new council boss has taken a tour of critical areas in the local government.

Nwodo who swiftly assumed office on December 18 in an unceremonial handover, which had the Head Of Personnel Management (HPM) and other Heads of departments in attendance, took a quick tour of some areas in need of critical and urgent interventions, alongside other stakeholders in the council.

The Chairman, who later addressed stakeholders and workers, made it clear that it won’t be business as usual, stressing that his government will do all it could to ensure that lives are touched positively in line with the vision and mission of Governor Ugwuanyi-led administration in the state.
